Just passing thru on the way home. Found Mamas using google maps. Ordered pizza and fish & chips. Dont let the outside fool you. Restaurant is clean and updated on interior. Relaxing music. Pizza is good and filling. Fish and chips are good as well.Mamas heart attack garlic toast is hands down the best I have ever tasted. Not sure if the toast is called heart attack for the amount of butter in it or the garlic breath it gives you after eating.The wait time from sit down food in front of us was about 20 minutes. To be fair we were one of two parties seated. The pizza must be popular because the phone never stopped ringing for take out.Definitely will stop here again when passing this way again.
Walked in at 9 PM on a Friday night (an hour before closing) and there were no staff to be found. We walked up to the register and saw them standing around in the kitchen talking. One made eye contact with me, I waved and he continued to just stare at me from the kitchen. Doesn't really matter how good the food is if the staff aren't willing to sell it to you. Owners should give the staff some training about how the people who walk in the door are trying to exchange money for food (otherwise known as "customers"), not intruders trying to ruin their good time. Perhaps even tell them to help these "customers" instead of just staring at them until they leave. Call me crazy but this "customer service" concept might increase sales.
My family and I have recently ordered pizza from Mamas about three times now and it is by far the best pizza in Okotoks! Best pizza Ive had in a very long time! Love it!!! Cannot rave enough about this place, friendly service and willing to accommodate. They always get it right! Very happy customer!!!
The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are large. Have eaten here a few times and always have something different. Have not been disappointed, every time is as good as the last
