Thoroughly over the moon! Its been 4 weeks since my final session with Neil and I am jogging pain free! After injuring my right hip 2 years ago and trying everything, I honestly didnt think that would be possible. Everything I had tried, just seemed to re-aggravate the injury. Excersise, stretching, even resting for too long would have me limping. The chiropractor, massage therapy and acupuncture, all brought me little relief. Neil listened to my concerns and my goals. He gave me excerises that I could easily complete at home. He was patient, knowledgeable and to the point. The office was clean and the staff were very welcoming.
Neil is very knowledgeable and caring and his staff are all friendly which helps a lot for patients recovery and rehabilitation
I did not feel that Neil had any interest in my recovery. I went 5 times was connected to a traction machine for 15 min. No discussion of pain levels or progress. After 5 visits I was told there is nothing else he could do for me. I really feel ripped off for $275.00 which I cannot afford. NOT IMPRESSED.
I've been to Okotoks Physical Therapy for a couple ailments including lower back and plantar fasciitis. He tries different treatments and works with you to determine which ones are most effective. The recommended 'take-home' exercises help speed up recovery. A lot of people expect that the healing/recovery takes place during the appointment and don't listen when they're given exercises to do at home. it's not a spa it's physio, right? I've been guilty of not doing exercises and the recovery takes longer. I've since smartened up and do the work at home with better overall results. Before you blame your therapist first ask yourself if you've done everything they've prescribed for you? If you're not going to do your part in the recovery process then there isn't much else your therapist can do for you. Just sayin'...
I have attended here several times in the past and was very pleased with the care Neal gave me. This time I have just finished several weeks of treatment on my shoulder. I have had great results and really appreciate the friendly atmosphere. I will certainly return there again if I am in need of treatment. Many thanks to Neal and staff
