Awful night in the tent area. Party behind our tent was loud and rude. Not quiet until about 2 am. Campground staff apparently did nothing to to make it quieter for other campers. Would not recommend tenting area for family use. Our 8 year old daughter was scared and woke frequently through the evening. Not family friendly.
It's cheapish but not well kept havent had much of a good experience, theres leaches in the pond
We werent able to travel due to severe thunderstorm and wind warnings north of edmonton. Not only did the lady on the phone not believe me she rubbed our faces and said its sunny down here.. We didnt want to call back to the sound of snippieness so we decided to email saying since we were paying for 2 days we would like to get there early and enjoy thw next day.. only to recieve an email at 10:15pm asking us not to check in till after 1:00pm. Even though were paying for two nights. This isnt a great way to run a business.
Stayed here for a month in May. PROS: Clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. Many small playgrounds. Local campers generally keep to themselves. Quiet during the week. Good price for the area. Away from major roads. Security keeps rowdy intoxicated people in check. Some large lots. Most RV sites can handle heavy rain. Large firepits.CONS: Lacking on grass area in sites. Weekends before 12am can get loud. Dogs running loose and using other people's lots as bathrooms or going through food. Last few days went half of each day without water in entire camp. Many longterm lots are an eyesore.Like any campsite, a large amount of intoxicated people daily, and the smell of marijuana is potent.
We have been going to riverbend campground for over 10 years now ,usually 3 times per year minimum .We have always enjoyed our time there . We will not be returning however , the new owners are nothing like the old owners and have alot to learn about ,how to talk to customers . We will be exporing other campgrounds in the future.
