We had gone bike shopping for a cruiser yesterday, my sister had wanted something... "cute" so we had scoured the city for a bike that fit her needs. Only one bike shop in Calgary had the kind of bike we were looking for, however it was dirty.. and look used. We had made our way from the south to the north, and then decided to hit Okotoks before calling it quits. We had run into Wheel Life Cyclery where they had the same bike my sister had liked, clean, in perfect condition, and $50 cheaper than any other place we had tried. Mark was great at helping us get the bike out quickly, and answered all questions we had, not to mention his attitude made talking to him very easy. We had walked out with the bike in less than 20 minutes... which was when we ran into a little dilemma. The bike did not fit in the car... awkward, considering we live 30 minutes north, and with no other vehicle we might have had to leave the bike until the next day. Since it was closing time, Chris, one of the employees had offered to drive the bike over to our house HIMSELF for FREE. I am reluctant to give businesses 5-stars unless they go above and beyond, and this is more than what I look for in any business. Thanks so much Mark and Chris for making our experience over there awesome, you can rest assured we will be back for more bikes and a few repairs.
